Manage attributes within your Twilio Flex contact center.

Platform roles required to view and manage custom attributes.
Prerequisite: The natively supported Salesforce integration must be configured within your Twilio Flex contact center.
Attributes allow users to create advanced routing capabilities with custom data. When tasks are created, custom data is added to the tasks through any connected third-party data source.
To perform attribute-related functions, users will navigate to the Manage Attributes screen.
Navigate to Menu > Settings > Manage Attributes
Note: Manage Attributes will only be visible if you have configured and connected your account with Salesforce integration.
Edit an Attribute
To edit an existing attribute, select the edit (pencil) icon next to the attribute you would like to edit.
- Hover your cursor over the attribute you would like to edit
- Click on the edit (pencil) icon
After clicking on the edit icon, the "Edit Attribute" slideout will appear allowing you to edit the attribute details.
Delete an Attribute
To delete an existing attribute, select the delete (trashcan) icon next to the attribute you would like to delete.
- Hover your cursor over the attribute you would like to delete
- Click on the delete (trashcan) icon
- Select “Yes” when the delete confirmation message appears
Note: If the attribute is currently being used by a Workflow, you will not be able to delete the attribute until it is removed from the workflow.
